Can pipe relining fix tree root damage in sewer pipes?

Yes. Relining seals the cracked joints roots get in through, so they can't grow back into the pipe. We cut the roots out first with a hydro-jetter or robotic cutter, then install the liner — no digging up your garden.

Is pipe relining safe for older pipes like earthenware or asbestos?

Yes. We reline earthenware, clay, cast iron, PVC and asbestos-cement pipes. The old pipe stays in place and the liner forms a new pipe inside it, so there's no need to dig out or disturb the original material.

Will pipe relining reduce the flow capacity of my pipes?

Usually not in any way you'd notice. The liner is only a few millimetres thick, and because it's smooth and has no joints, water often flows better than it did through the cracked old pipe.

Can pipe relining be done in small, confined spaces?

Yes. That's where relining pays for itself — pipes under driveways, slabs, tiled courtyards and extensions can be repaired through an existing access point without breaking anything up.

How do I know if pipe relining is right for my property?

We put a CCTV camera through the line first — free with any clearing or relining job — and show you the footage. If the pipe has collapsed or sagged badly we'll tell you it needs digging; if it's cracked or root-damaged, relining is usually the better option.
